That oddcycle looks fun - I wouldn't mind learning how to ride it.
I think it should have been designed in such a way that the cycler's feet are just right under the body and not in front. Then it would require a bigger circumference. At least it would be easier to control than sort of leaning back.
I agree C5 - What you suggest makes sense from an ergonomics and physics standpoint.
