When they first started to experiment on it they used white painted tractor tyres before they finalised the layout; the local youths had great fun re-arranging them overnight.

Imagine the nightmare for a visitor from a country that drives on the right ... I was trying to imagine navigating that and almost lost my marbles.

Take it from me, it's even more scary to meet it head on so to speak. I think there is at least one more similar. Smaller ones with only 2 islands are fairly common though.

The main rule is give way to traffic from the left.

Some lovely pictures there, that roundabout looks quite scary Mike. Milton Keynes is famous for it's roundabouts, there are about 300 of them.
