    Now look e ear I use IE9, its not perfect and has some annoying features but I have tried the others and they also are not perfect, Fire fox Chrome opera, so is there a perfect browser?

    No, its what suits you best. As I have posted before I have to use I.E. as one of the research tools I use was designed to run with it. Can't use 9 as I still use XP so can not comment on it

    3 PC's and a laptop in this room, all run Firefox as first choice, IE languishes on all, but only for the few applications that need it. Surprisingly some bits of control panel won't run without it.

    Yes but we are networked in the office so XP gives us easy compatibility and home computer uses XP for the same reason. My daughter has 7 but I have not used it sufficiently to really assess it.
