Hi everone!
I came across Magle International Music Forums by mere chance. I was looking up pipe-organ-related terms such as "Gedeckt", "salicional", and some others, and the search engine sent me here.
Musically, I'm simply an amateur who attempts to strum some melodies on the piano and an old electronic organ. My achievements are too modest, but nevertheless, I enjoy spending countless hours at any of these instruments.
I studied mechanical and electrical engineering, but for the most part of my professional life, I've worked as a highschool and university teacher. Recently, I concluded specialty studies in mechatronics, and in a team of four, presented a project that has to do with "teaching" rythm to the hands by gentle mechanical stimuli. My assessors were a bit skeptical, but I do believe that it can be useful. However, a long road lies ahead to proving its effectiveness.
Well, this is too much talking (or writing). I hope you all are doing fine. It'll be a pleasure meeting you now and then in the forums.
I hope you had a fine Christmas, and I wish you the best for the coming year.
