a competition “Golden harp” taking place in St Petersburg, Russia, in autumn 2009 will be of great interest to many. The programme is not too challenging, there is a large prize fund and excellent conditions for all those taking part. You don't even have to pay for hotel accomodation during the first round. And, most importantly, the judging will be fair, because for the first time in the history of such competitions, the jury will be made up not only of harpists (Jana Bouskova, Catherine Michel, Anna Makarova), but also other renowned musicians. That means that the teachers won't try to just promote their own pupils; everything will be honest.
