Aloha Art Rock,
Good thread topic ---
I'm partial to:
Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem
Durufle: Requiem
Berlioz: Requiem
Mozart: Requiem
Verdi: Requiem
Faure: Requiem
Tomas Luis de Victoria: Officium Defunctorum
Unusually for me something more recent, Preisner's "Requiem for my friend",
the video on this youtube offering is not that inspiring, the MP3 download from Amazon is not expensive though.

The soprano, Elzbieta Towarnicka impresses me, PC speakers don't do her justice though.
Cheers MIKE.
How many roads must a man walk down ... ... before he admits he's lost?
