Im sorry I can't help you, but if you do find out, I'd like to know the name of that last one myself!!!

Just an idea though - go to imdb.com and look up these films since you know what these songs are soundtracks to. The site usually has a list of the songs used, so you may be able to find what you are looking for there!

On http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057831/ the soundtrack listing is greyed out. I remember I checked also the songs listed here:http://www.moviemusic.com/soundtrack/zorbathegreek
But this song was not there.

If IMDB has "soundtrack" grayed out, that is a good indication that no soundtrack CD was ever cut for that movie, or has become unavailable for whatever reasons.

Often times, movie music is created just for that one film ... it was never performed before by anyone as it was not composed until the film was in the can. The film is shot first ... then after all the cuts and editions, the music is composed and performed on a sound stage. Been there, done that ... an interesting session, for sure.

Not all music that is created for a movie makes it to a CD or ever made publically available.

I've not heard either sound bite before, so not much help in trying to identify those.

    song 5

Then how do you explain that the soundtracks for Zorba are listed here? (http://www.moviemusic.com/soundtrack/zorbathegreek). And the song 5 is not among them (I downloaded them and checked). I also downloaded the all soundtracks for Fight club and song 4 is not among them. For Killing me softly, I could never find a soundtrack.

I'd like to see whther I can help, but I am not going to download and unzip a file without the certainty that there is nothing funny with it. Why not uploaded as an MP3?

When posting, click on "Go Advanced" instead of submit. This opens up more options, including one for adding attachments. You then click on "Manage Attachments" and upload from your pc. There is a listing of the acceptable formats that can be uploaded to this site.

The only caveat is when dealing with copyrighted material. Danish law allows only a snippet of 59 seconds or less of copyrighted audio/visual - uploading an entire copyrighted song is illegal and will be removed by the staff here.

For copyrighted stuff, it's probably better to post the link, but also bear in mind that the majority of members here will not download from a site that requires them to login or join. Some, like myself, use boxnet, which makes it easier to listen and not have to download anything.

I think maybe Krummhorn may be right here, which could be the reason why some pieces were not among the official soundtrack. Maybe it was just a tiny piece written for that specific movie which was either too short of whatever to go on a soundtrack.

Another thing that comes to mind is actually checking the movie, where they have the listing of all songs used in the end - sometimes those are more accurate and list more info, like the pieces that were made specifically for that movie and who were they performed by.
