You are right. It is mainly the Western world that has taken this path. It is up to all of us to make our feelings known. i have been told that in the USA men are afraid to complement women, and vice versa, in case the are accised of sexual harrasment. Frightening.

What I find just as bad as PC is the aggresive atheism/antitheism that people display these days. Attending a public high school, I find a lot of people who condemn all forms of religion, especially Christianity, without any reason other than that they want to have something to complain about.

It reminds me of James Dean in Rebel Wihout a Cause, when he was asked what he was rebelling againsts. His reply " What have you got" If people do not have a cause they will invent one however stupid it may appear to the rest of us.
It is a shame that we can not unite to fight just causes, but then we would never be able agree what exactly those were.

Yes, the wholesale persecution of Christians is accelerating at an alarming rate. Of course, a great witness to faith, mercy, charity, and humbleness is Mother Teresa and her indefatigable work amongst the outcasts in India. Without disagreeing at all with your well made points about the idiocy and evil nature of pc, I would like to point out that my president--despite his middle name--is a devout Christian. In America,during the last presidential election. I had enough of the mud slinging against this man because of his middle name. Enough already! Judge him on his political positions and values , and not on a cheap shot which his middle name affords those of a certain outlook. Talk about pc, ha.

From what I can gather Steve Christianity is n a healthier state in America than it is over here. Prayers in school are almost unkown and lets face it, thats were it all starts. At least they honour the national anthem over there, more than we do here in case it offends non British people, which it does not.
