I saw this vid many months ago and then did a bit of browsing on the Hammerwood Park instrument(s) which made for a most fascinating read. The curator has made quite the cyborg there. I wouldn't mind visiting there next time I'm over. There have been some world class performers there who obviously haven't minded playing it.

That guy is a real hoot. Perhaps eccentric is a good adjective to use. I'll bet his neighbors have some "stories" they could tell.

That 128' sound could bring the house down - quite literally! As for the guy being eccentric, Stephen, I can only say that he would pass for perfectly normal here in England!

Scientifically interesting and something of a novelty, but scarcely of any musical value whatsoever !
