weird dreams with organs in them....

Not too long ago, I had a weird dream involving a large old tracker organ. Oddly enough, I can't remember the details right now, but many years ago, I dreamt I was in the Cathedral in Mexico City.

Someone was playing an intense and emotional piece by Bach, I think. The tempo was moderate and every now and then, small explosive charges, planted in one of the facades, would randomly go off. Of course, I was horrified.

Years later, I learned Flentrop restored the organ/organs after a fire.

Any of you ever have weird organ dreams? I'm sure some have. Interested in your stories.

Must have been one of Bach's canons! But seriously, I do dream about organs, and I'm fascinated by dreams in general and I recently started a thread in the Open Debate Forum. I wanted to find out if people believe dreams can predict the future. I found weak evidence for this in some dreams I recorded. Your dream is rather similar - it didn't come true in detail, but there is an obvious connection between a building being on fire and small explosions happening from time to time. One of my wierdest organ dreams was when I found myself operating a machine which was part organ and part lawnmower!! I'm also quite a good improviser in my dreams - and useless at improvising in real life.

I never dreamed of organ playing but I have many times had a dream
with a piano in it with no one to play it and I have to figure out how
to play the song on this piano. Unless harmonicas count as organs
in dreams. I did dream of playing one of those.
