    Fanfare for organ and timpani

One of my all time favourite organs, sadly I've not seen it, only heard it on CD ... one day.

I have heard this 'Fanfare for the Common Man' by Aaron Copland in a BBC Prom from the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Impressive sound ... I too haven't yet stepped foot into this cathedral , and I live in the US.

Here's some info on that organ.

That was a truly splendid rendition. I remember back a few months when CD had put a link to "Common Man" and it was the first time that I ever knew the name of the wonderful piece I have heard so many times during my life.

This arrangement sounded so much like a symphony that I was awe-struck. I have been in that cathedral, but sadly did not get to hear the organ.

    Maybe one day...

    Thanks for sharing, David.

You guys better hurry--that organ's not long for this world. Not in it's present state, at the very least:
