Thanks for pointing this out, CD!This clip is taken from an old Christophorus CD of 1986, which is now long OOP, I believe.
Ingolstadt is a strange beast. A kind of "icy beauty", soundwise; more so than your typical Klais (say, Altenberg or Würzburg). And Meister Kaunzinger's incisive playing underlines that "icy" character even more (more so than the CD recordings of the instrument's titulaire, Franz Hauk — though the Youtube sound "quality" here may not help, either).

I happen to like the Ingolstadt beast - However, this recording is miked too close to the case - Subsequently, the instruments full colour imo, does not get to bloom - And yes, the iciness is readily apparent in the recording.
