    Hi Jean Paul - It's an interesting experiment, but if I'm totally honest it irritates me slightly. It's a bit like meeting one of your old friends and finding they've had a sex-change operation!!

    Thank you for the honesty. The comparison is excellent, and who knows, according to the direction of the operation, the sex-change can be positive.

    That's very true! I hadn't thought much about this before, but to do something like this is quite controversial and challenging because it goes against the whole ethos of "Classical" music where there is an attitude that "every note is sacred" unlike jazz say, where every note is there to be messed around with. It will be interesting to hear what others think.
