Non-famous Composers (collect them all): Paul Wachs

What makes me think Paul Wachs was a notable Frenchy, at least up there with Pierné, Ropartz et al? I'm looking over his Hosanna in 33 Favorite Organ Solos, and in an effort to find out what to think of it, can't find him mentioned in Wikipedia or even the 1954 Grove's. He does make the amazing Portraits of the World's Best-Known Musicians -- student of Franck and Marmontel etc.

Anybody ever played or liked Paul Wachs' music? Couple of nice if undistinguished flute or piano things in Youtube. He's got it better than organ composer Guy Weitz, though -- he's not mentioned in any of the above places!
