Hi Matt,
I have just checked out the youtube ref.and was amazed.
For others who have not done so, this guy, Linsey Pollak, manufactures a clarinet from a carrot, and proceeds to play a lively jazzy tune.
Please tell me it isnt a hoax.

Yeh, I was fooling about, I will have to use more smilies seriously you can make wind instruments out of just about any thing, in the demo they used a clarinet mouthpiece you could also use one from a Brass instrument, it gets a bit harder when you rely on just embouchure as in the Flute but it can still be done
