Fugue for left hand and pedals

This fuga in C major, 3 voices, is the last part of a 3-movements French organ suite, written for Marlin N. and scored entirely for pedals and left hand. The Canadian organist Marlin had a serious accident with his right hand where nerves, tendons and muscles were deeply cut, so he had to have corrective surgery. But he’s still playing a lot of things just with pedals and left hand).

You can hear the MP3 if you are interested.
    Friendly yours. Jean-Paul

I have enjoyed listening to this : good, competent fugal writing but I do not perceive anything specifically 'French' in its style. I think it sounds more like neo- German baroque/classical. Am I missing something ?

I named it "French suite" simply because I am French. But you have reason, many auditors consider me as a neo-classic and the composer I prefer is Bach.

Thanks for the explanation, musicalis. I look forward to hearing more of your music in this style. For me, both as a musician and organist, Bach is a favourite composer.

    Best wishes.
