An ackward greeting!

Hello to all folks!
Since I am not used to this method of communication I may stumble at this but will prevail somehow.
A little background about moi..... I am a hacker with organs, I have rebuilt a (gasp!!) 3-11 Wurlitzer and been around such beasts since 9 years of youth,(49 years hence). I have been smitten by the virtual bug since I am not of a means to possess the true living beast. I have a great love of the Romantic literature and hence instruments for this genre. (Theatre is my passion, but Skinners and Cavaille-Coll steal my heart as well!)My virtual instrument is slowly coming together, many ideas and refinements rattling in my head. Most are committed to paper (computer!), drawings of console and specification modifications for my particular needs.
I play poorly, and frustrate myself with this fact, but that doesn't deter me from building the best instrument I can.

Let me be the first to welcome you to MIMF, Vpoguy! It's a great meeting place for organ enthusiasts (and many other things too). I too am a (fairly recent) convert to virtual organs, and there are others here who have loads of expertise and experience. Looking forward to hearing more from you in due course.
