    Hans Island... Canadian or Danish?

    I thought it was a joke when I heard on the news the other day that an island of the coast of Greenland in the arctic sea had made a diplomatic stir between Denmark and Canada.
    Both the Danish side and the Canadian side has apparently a claim to this unhabited island, not more than about a square kilometer in size.

    I'm just sitting here asking why.....?

    Good grief... in a world with one international catastrophe after another, this comes up...

    Does anyone have any light to shed on this diplomatic incident?

    Jeez... Could you please elaborate a bit more, I'm sure we all are very much interested in hearing your view of this matter, but this kind of discussion you put forward is of no use to anyone.

    I must have missed the todo over this issue. But as a Canadian, (although I can only speak for myself), my reaction is `oh, brother!`
    For crying out loud, seems like nonsense to me.

    As for Mike`s comments- hope he was joking.

    What is that???!! When I was finish reading, I really tought it was a joke......

    Why don´t they split the island in to??? Then theres nothing more to talk about, and both Canada and Denmark is 7 km^3 bigger!!!!
