@Corno Dolce and Mat: I see you appreciate Pat Metheny a lot. How does it happen that I know nothing of his music?![]()
Hi Violinschlüssel,
I first came into contact with Pat Metheny's music back in 1983 with the group doing a concert called *Travels*. His music is quite accessible to anyone with an open heart. Below is a present for ya---
Here is Pat Metheny at one of his most expressive moments:

*If a man wants God to hear his prayer quickly, then before he prays for anything else, even his own soul, when he stands and stretches out his hands towards God, he must pray with all his heart for his enemies. Through this action God will hear everything that he asks* -Abba Zeno-
*Protagoras: "Truth is subjective. What is true for you, and what is true for me, is true for me. Your opinion is true by virtue of its being your opinion."
*Socrates: "My opinion is: Truth is absolute, not opinion, and that you are in absolute error. Since this is my opinion, then according to your philosophy you must grant that it is true."

Wow! Thanx for the present: I didn't expect it, and it was as double as appreciated!Metheny's music is able to make you relax and dream, it's sort of... magic.
However, at the moment I'm listening to Angelo Badalamenti's The Straight Story.
(I love film scores).
Hello Violinschlüssel,
I am glad that I could help a forum colleague discover another great musician like Pat Metheny.
Always at your service,
