    Some new recordings from Lulea Cathedral!

    Hi everybody!

    Here is two new recording i have done last night, and I wonder what you think about the (recording) sound.
    The organist, has given me his permission to publish this recordings.

    I have two DPA 4003 as the main microphones, and one Pearl TL4 stereomic to pick up the acoustics of the cathedral.
    DPA:s is connected to, HMA5000 Two-Channel Hi-Voltage Microphone Amplifier, and TL4 to apogee MinMP 2ch preamp.
    And then everythings go through FireFace 800 and recorded on a PC.

    May we know the name of the soloist? Is that his/her arrangement of the Sibelius?

    Wow ... that Free Improvisation was fantastic. Thrilled me right down to my ankle bones. Enjoyed Wargh's version of Finlandia too ... very different, but in a very nice way.

    This instrument apparently is not in Martin Doering's organ database. Perhaps you've posted the url for the specs before. Who built this instrument, when was it installed, and how many ranks if known.
