    Hi there

I found this community when searching for "Harmonium, Alexandre Pere et Fils" as one had come up on my local Freecycle and I was trying to find out more about the company who made the instrument. I sadly cannot offer the harmonium a home as we only have a small flat. Hopefully somebody with more space will come forward.

Having looked around I decided to register.

Glad you decided to join our forum community.

Do you play the harmonium or other instruments?

I would also like to welcome you to MIMF, Helianthus. Mmm, harmoniums are wonderful sounding instruments, indeed. I feel your pain about the space however. You should see how much I have crammed into the bedroom I use as my "studio" space. Gone is the guest bed (replaced by an inflatable on a stand for any visitors) and a Hammond Commodore sits in its place. I am starting to modify and midify it for use with organ programmes. I love the VPOs and VTPO programmes. In fact, I just had a desktop computer built for music apps only - no internet, anti-virus, nothing. Just music apps. I got a Delta 1010LT audio card and intend to get another for setting up the speakers in surround sound for the organs.

Then I have my desk with my laptop for video apps and a music stand with 3 keyboards until I can get 2 additional keyboards to add to the Hammond. THEN the fun will really begin.

Since we have new neighbors upstairs and they have little kiddies who are constantly thumping on the floor, I can't wait to see their reaction to a little pipe organ music rattling their walls! What's a little Tutti amongst friends, eh?

    Welcome again.
