Hey, tittualex, from Hyderabad, India. I'm of Scottish Highland descent,
and see what you're typing about making "Scottish" small pipes
    from CPVC and brass tubing.
This thought is making the historic bagpipe my uncle donated to a museum turn blue,
and I don't want to audition for the Blue Man Group.
If you're not careful I'll find a site making tablas out of old Tupperware bowls,
featuring the innovative "multi-tablas" made of plastic 7-11 Super Big Gulp cups.
My father's name is Alexander, and that's my middle name.
You're even trying to glom on to that, Alex.

    as always, John Watt

Here we have a post that touches on my Scottish ancestry,
and I think I'm coming off as a little crotchety, if not surly.
I was trying to be slightly humorous,
but you'd probably want to call me more deficient,
if you saw me playing tabla on my old Boy Scout canteen.
The first one didn't last too long, so I got a one piece aluminum, large.
It's better with the carry-cover removed.
It's loud with fingers, especially with the cover off, and it's wicked with sticks.
I like finger size willow fronds.

It was in with some unexpected things when I looked in an unpacked box,
and when I started hitting it I had to keep going....
a slow twooo-twooo, quick snap snaps, slow twooo twooo
If I felt any more danceable I would have been doing the "So You Think You Can Dance" theme.
