I am always at least a little disappointed by the sound quality of youtube videos/recordings.
How splendid that music MUST sound 'in the flesh' in that building or even through my hi-fi system.
One thing anyone can do to improve the YT sound quality is add "&fmt=18" (without the quotes) to the end of the page URL and refresh the page. Makes a huge difference on better quality recordings like these.

a foot note to Kh's post: I also have a hook up from my computer into my stereo system and that makes a Hude difference in the sound of the videos particularally organ. I also have a virtual organ set up( midi- hauptwerk) through computer and into stero system.. sounds GREAT
I do exactly the same Bill. I always throw away any speakers which come with the computer, and simply plug the computer into the hi-fi.

Alternatively, order a copy of the CD from the OHS catalogue:

Sadly, this instrument now sounds rather different - and Cochereau has been dead for a quarter of a century. Still, at least there is the legacy of his numerous recordings.
This will solve the problem of the inferior sound quality of YouTube. Included is a twelve-page booklet, complete with English translation (in addition to French).
The final improvisation (well, before the bells) is short but superbly constructed, directly following Mawby's Alleluia (at 3'.52"). Even the choir do not sound too bad, here.
