    Hello to all jOrgan enthusiasts

Hi, I am an amateur organ lover. I discovered the virtual organ world a few months ago and have never looked back since. I am building my own instrument and use jOrgan, Grand Orgue and the free version of Hauptwerk as tools to play several organ dispositions.

Unfortunately my contributions on another forum were not appreciated and the administrator did take enough offence to consider me unworthy of his mailing list . I hope to be a good boy here and any suggestions/ advice or contributions will be acknowledged. Mutual respect is the underlying principle and I'm sure we all have much to learn from one other.

I am a medical doctor by profession. I love to share a joke or two and pass friendly jibes... so beware.... DO NOT TAKE OFFENCE, please! It can be tricky if we come from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Such was the trouble, it seems, with another popular forum. So ladies, gentleman be tolerant and never take anything to heart.

I am here to learn and share, enjoy and laugh, tease and be teased.... all in the spirit of being part of a great music-loving community.

Perhaps. I'd rather think they weren't. One software developer is risking killing his project himself. THAT would be such a pity! Good programmer. Questionable manager!

I like passing light hearted remarks in the course of more serious stuff. But thanks for that info.

    Welcome Mark B,

I think you will find that everyone here at MIMF is more tolerant and can appreciate all types of humour and there are all types of personalities here. It's doubtful stepping on any toes accidentally will result in permanent injury. Proof of this can be found by spending some time reading the threads. At one point or another just about everything has been commented on here.

Best of all, there are plenty of knowledgeable and extremely helpful people here.
