    Daphne Bagshawe

Hello I am a new member and a new organist .I have been learning for 3 years and am about grade 5 . I suspect I am a bit older than the average student being 63 !Can anyone help me track down printed music by Thomas Louis Hardin also known as Moondog. I wish to play "New sounds on an Old Instrument " My favourite period is Baroque but I also love much modern music especially Langlais

Welcome to Magle Music Forums, Daphne

Glad to hear about you embarking on starting organ at this time in your life.

Age is never a barrier - all one needs is the willingness and drive to learn new skills, which I think you already have.

I share your enthusiasm with Langlais - some of his compositions are well beyond my scope of playing ability, but there are many that I do play, some even for worship service music.

Looking forward to seeing you about the boards here. We hope that you will enjoy being part of this great forum community.
