Would a est. 1970 Lowery organ be of any worth?

I'm just wondering, because my own organ in my room is a Lowery Symphonic Holiday, build approx. 1970. Is it worth anything? Because it's so old and retired?

Yea it's seen better day xD It's been moved around so muuch some of the components inside broke D: But thankflly all the stops still work Yup, some keys are missing on the bottom manual. The speaker is starting to go to... I'm sure if it's repaired it'll be fine though.

Hi Silver. Have you tried looking for similar ones on Ebay? There are currently two like it on Ebay in the UK (but in good condition) but they haven't had any bids as yet. To be brutally honest, I doubt whether yours has much value at all, not when the damage is taken into account.

I've seen prices anywhere between $125 and $300 for this model where everything is reported to be working and no broken parts.

I suppose one needs to evaluate what the repairs are likely to cost versus what the instruments value is to you. If you were to sell it in the present condition, you might not get even $100 for it ... and then only if the right buyer comes along.

As for the broken keys, those might be replaceable ... in the meantime though, just don't play anything in the key of D flat major .

Actually, I DO have replacements for those, but they slide on and slide off. I took the pic in it's WORST condition, to see if it IS worth anything, but everything works, except when you have the speakers on, usually the lower flute sound fuzzy. But I'm always jacked in my headphones so i dion't use it that often unless my family's out. After a while it starts to work fine.

Thanks! I would personally go good with drawknobs, but the pipe organ down at the church has "Tongues" (don't ask the wierd name), which that's truley thier name, but I like the name "Stops" better than anything xD
