Hey, I enjoyed listening to this song. The only part I didnt like was the ending when you go a note up. It just felt out of place. Anyway I think its a question of taste. Otherwise I do like the song. Good luck with your project

thank you very much. we really appriciate that you listened to our song and gave a positive criticism. we are greatful for that.
as for the scale shift part is concerned, it is our first song of course it could not be perfect. but we'll make sure we don't repeat this mistake in future.
thanks again for your precious comments we appriciate it.
    Teh Rising.

Rockin in Pakistan! Don't apologize for modulating. The song is a slow build up. Nicely done. I can appreciate that you were using modulation as a device to crank it up another notch at the end. You might even consider modulating up a minor 3rd instead of a half step next time you perform. It could make it even more dramatic.

I agree, the modulation is fine. The song construction also is fine. Good effort for a first song. Maybe in your next song you could try a more complex chord progession with more than 4 chords (8 with modulation.) Or not- there are plenty of popular songs out there with only 2 chords!

    Good luck!

You shouldnt call it a mistake- I just found it a little odd and too much eurovision-contest-cliche-ish . Thats why I dont like the scale shift technique. The song as i said earlier IS well executed

    Hi
I listen to your song a couple of times now and it`s quite nice. I especially liked the chorus and the switch between the mellow and more "rock sounding" tunes .
    Good luck in the future

    Hi,
I think it's a really great song, and I just wish I knew what the lyrics meant!

The only thing I maybe could put my finger on is the intro. To me, it sounds too far removed from the rest of the song, soundwise. Maybe if it was played on the piano instead?

Anyways, I'm not musician myself, so don't listen too much to me. There are much wiser people on MIMF than me (at least when it comes to music )

Lotus80 - who's looking forward to your next song!

Thanks a lot for listening to the song.
lotus dude if you have music in you you don't need theory to become a musician and hence your opinion will be no less than someone who claims to be a musician. about the intro yes it is on piano. in fact pianos are an integral part of the song and they are played throughout the song. about the language i could post the translation but it won't look that good. so have your guesses.
and thank you very much dude.
    =)

I'm sorry, my speakers on my laptop are not the best, so the sound of the intro sounds very different from the rest of the song :-) Anyways, you made a great song, and it sounds good even onmy crappy speakers
