Since there is some "commotion" about 64' stops in the Pipe Organ section, I thought about the M & O organ that Cameron Carpenter designed for Marble Collegiate Church. It has a 128' Sine Wave stop in the pedal division, among other things...

Along with the Thigpen Rotary Subwoofer, there is much ado about low frequencies these days...

Hehe, well an 128 stop would make the entire church rattle nicely, but i cant imagine its use in a piece. It would too need much time till it speaks.

Other than that, Carpenter is rather crazy, so expect anything from him xD

Ohhh, that 128' Sine Wave stop in the pedal division speaks very promptly indeed. If you have ever heard a Theatre Pipe Organ in action, you'd be surprised at how relatively few ranks can rattle the rafters and wake up the dead. When properly scaled, built, voiced , and finished pipes receive massive quantites of air at high pressures it can thrill the senses. Our resident Theatre Organ Specialist and Forum Moderator Extraordinaire Krummhorn can share much about the the magic of a Theatre Pipe Organ.
