It might well be the way he manages to combine two things that one would have thought to be inherently foreign to each other: a liturgical setting (including plain chant themes) with pretty apparent and intense Wagnerism.

Certainly it is my favourite Widor symphony, that's for sure. This organ you've directed us to is just so wonderful, I have the recordings of the Vierne symphonies with Martin Jean at the console, sublime.

Hmm... Assuming a total of 200 million videos (and ignoring differences in video lengths), that leaves us with 20 videos that are worth a tincker's cuss. Wonder which ones they are.:grin:

Having said that, I agree of course with CT64's actual point: the signal/noise ratio on Youtube tends, alas, to be rather small. :( Fortunately, videos with more valuable content are usually uploaded by more intelligent people, who, among other things, know how to set more efficient tags. This can be at least of some help in trying to find a few nuggets in the riverbed.
