Nicolo Paganini rarity

I've only ever heard Yehudi M. play a brief excerpt of this, never heard the work in its entirity.

Looks extremely challenging (remember it's for solo violin). I do like the way the left hand pizzacato is on a second stave (very sensible).

Enjoy

Good Lord!! Did Paganini have a death wish against violinists? :nut:

So ... how does one do pizzicato on the strings with the left hand whilst keeping fingertips pressed for the bowed notes at the same time? I'll have to send this file to my sister who plays the violin & viola.

As a former violist too, I can state that bowing and plucking simultaneously (whilst tricky) isn't too difficult to accomplish IF your'e a hald decent player.
