Boomeria Lives On! – Santa Cruz Baroque Festival

The Santa Cruz Baroque Festival presents Boomeria Lives On! — a festive summer fundraiser at the historic St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Ben Lomond, California.

The program features an afternoon of baroque and classical music, including the Fanfare for Two Trumpets and Organ “The Fairest of Roses” by Frederik Magle (1977), performed by Bruce Sawhill (organ), Laura Shea-Clark and Guy Clark (trumpets).

Also on the program: organ music by Bach, Pachelbel, and Brahms; Sonata III for Flauto Traverso and Cembalo by J.S. Bach (Lars Johannesson, flute; Bill Visscher, harpsichord); improvisation on The Star-Spangled Banner by W. Roethig; a sonata for viola da gamba by Carl Friedrich Abel (Penny Hanna); the Pastyme Consort (recorders); and the Santa Cruz Brass Quintet.

Wine and gourmet food will be served. All proceeds support the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival’s 2027 concert season.
