Copenhagen Visit

My wife and I had a most pleasant visit to Copenhagen recently - Stayed at the Hotel Maritime on Peder Skrams Gade - 400 Euros for three nights w/ breakfast every morning - I warmly recommend the establishment for my friends on this Forum. We ate at Fuego's, Bistro Kultorvet and Bacino - All great eateries.

We visited the Glyptotek, Stroeget, Frederikskirken aka Marble Church (What a gorgeous Sanctuary)!!! the grave of Soeren Kierkegaard, Jesuskirken in Valby (with a Cavaille-Coll Organ)and many other places. I said to my wife that if we should ever live in Scandinavia we should make Copenhagen our home - She totally agreed!!! :D:D:D

The Metro is a great mode of transit in Copenhagen - Hopefully the City will greatly expand it.

Cheers,

Hi CD

That all sound wonderful, I am glad you had a good time. I have never been to Copenhagen, but it sounds a great place to go.

Welcome back

Hi Dorsetmike,

Well, Copenhagen is a great "Keyhole City" from which to travel to other European Cities and we adore Copenhagen. So, I guess it will figure in our future plans :D:D:D

Cheers,
