Dulce et Decorum Est

Hi,

I hope I am at the right forum. I compose within the framework of a tonal/chromatic/melodic/harmonic/polyphonic/content/structure approach to composition, some would label it contemporary classical. It may be. Because of numerous reasons, I have focused nearly all of my energy on interpreting my own orchestral, polyphonic music with computer technology. Up to the last few decades, beginning with Wendy Carlos, the integration of art music and computers was virtually non-existent. Exciting new software synthesis, comprehensive orchestral sample libraries, 24-bit recording, better AD and DA converters have all converged with new arts of the 21st century, and classical music will have to absorb this energy as will much of the fine arts.

Enough philosophizing for now.

I hope you can get into this piece of anti-war poetry I set to music. It was sung at an anti-war rally, the kind where people in the U.S. expect folk and rock music, so I think some of the atonal and chromatic sections probably confused the audience. :>)
