It's so sad to hear this, WK. My thoughts are with you. Hope the surgery goes well.

Teddy, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, too. Bummer about the Porsche, but in this case it sure is a good move to put the temptation out of reach.

Keep us posted, both of you.

Good luck and be well,
Mat

Thanks Mat. The only thing which rankles is that far too many temptations are becoming out of reach. I will have to try and think of some new ones

Hi Steve

I am sorry you are having to have an operation. My thoughts are with you that all will go well.

It is a shame about your Porche Teddy, I hope that your eye operations are successful. I will be thinking of you.

What sort of Porch Teddy, front or back?

(Can't be a Cayenne turbo, they are only for use on school runs of under half a mile.)

Hi Teddy, Marval and Mat: I just came across these posts of yours from a couple of days ago in re to my ear. First off, I want to thank all of you for taking the time to express your support and concern; that is really very decent on all your parts and I shall never forget it! Teddy, what I have is basal cell carcinoma in the form of an inflamed polyp that is embedded in the outer lobe of my left ear {probably caused by too much sun worship at the beach in my younger days}. It does not affect my balance in the slightest; indeed if the biopsy hadn't revealed this condition, I never would have known that anything was amiss. I should have the "excision" on it done sometime next month. Again, thank you all for your concern and God bless.p.s. I hope that all of you and yours are safe and healthy. Teddy, please keep us posted on your eye situation. Steve.

We are a load of old crocks "and I don't mean the ones with a lot of teeth" as the man said as he was crucified "always look on the bright side of life" ;)

Hi Marval and I hope you and yours are well. Thanks again for your support and concern! I should be alright, hopefully by the end of next month, after the excision--not exorcism-- :rolleyes:has been performed.

Hi Margaret; I hope your "other half" is starting to feel better. As long as my head doesn't start turning 360 degrees and me spouting out curses in latin   I guess I should be ok, I hope. Thanks again for your concern. Steve

Colin, I am very sorry to hear that your wife is hospitalized; I hope that she can recover soon and join you back at home. I know only too well what that is like, as for the past couple of years my own wife has been in and out of the hospital with pneumonia and various other respiratory ills. God Bless. Please keep us posted. Steve
