I think the "Third Ear" review says it best: "the budget price leaves you without excuse."

Also, this set has my favorite version of #7 (even pipping the more celebrated Kleiber version).

For my part, I recently picked up a used 10-CD set-Mengelberg- Maestro Appassionato. Granted, this package contains a lot of duplicates of war-horses that I already have... but at c. $2.00/disc, it was well worth it!
