Well I did listen to the concert last night, it was LONG (2 and a half hours) but I enjoyed every second. John Chen's playing of the Beethoven 5th piano concerto was finely crafted and gorgeous and the Tchaikowsky Symphony 4.5 (Manfred) was thrilling. No a big fan of Sculthorpe, though his opening work was nice.

Hey Colin, thanks - I'll book mark that.

Our orchestras, when they are broadcast, only remain in place for the event for various reasons (copyright and so forth). Sadly, this Sydney Symphony concert was a one off. All good.
