    Ebay feedback

I just had a "thanks for your purchase" email from a seller, to which he had added "could you please leave DIFFERENT feedback" (I've bought from him before)

I can see the point of having feedback, but the "WOW 5*, SUPER DUPER seller/buyer/ebayer" seems a bit stupid. My standard response is short and truthful unless there is some cause for complaint,

I Click "Positive" and in the Comments box, simply put "No problems" and finally click the relevant satisfied/reasonable levels. (I actually only type the N of No problems, Firefox fills it in)

If I should ever have a complaint, then I would contact the seller first to try and resolve the complaint, not plaster negative comments about for all to see.

I'm tempted to email back, it's my feedback, take it or leave it.

Am I wrong to take this approach?
    Cheers MIKE.

That is about the same way with me. What else can you say about an online store unless you have a problem which I have never had a problem yet.

i agree. I am constantly geting feedback forms from companies I deal with asking "were our staff fantastic, super fantastic or super duper fantastic. It is no longer enough to say you were satisfied, you must praise then to infinity and beyond. Personally I do not have the time for this c--p. Yes, I am happy is all they get.

Posted this on a photo forum as well, got one suggestion I liked, in the comments box just put "DIFFERENT" after all that's what he's asked for!
    Cheers MIKE.

I like that idea Mike, very good. I would just do what you have, as long as it is positive feedback he can't complain.

I get those "we want all 5's for our score" feedback for internet purchases, too. Nothing like trying to stuff the ballot box before the vote ... . I generally give good marks for good performance, but also let the vendor know when I was unsatisfied, too.

Nothing like giving them middle scores (where you're neither satisfied nor dissatisfied), it always irks them.
I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God.

Give him a different review ... tell him it was rubbish.
Then ask him if he'd prefer your normal response :-)

Seems to me, this seller wants to receive praises.

"Could you please leave different feedback".. though it sounds polite, it's a bit demanding... :P

In the end I just left my normal "No problems", if he don't like it he can lump it!
    Cheers MIKE.
