hello titanicpiano14 and welcome. I missed your first threads but welcome anyway.

I would love to hear you play some more challenging music, as you obviously have a growing talent for the piano.

Really enjoyable. I look forward to listening to you over the years. Have you released anything on CD yet, or are you palning to? Can you tell us all some more about yourself and where you play?

I am History major and a junior in college. I haven't released anything on CD yet. My ultimate goal is to become a big time film or video game composer for a major company (I think in the meantime, I'll need to get some 9 to 5 job I like (media, marketing, advertising, production, etc) when I graduate while I keep trying to break into the composing industry). I am currently composing for 2 video games for free right now, they're free, open source RPGs- they will take a long time to develop. I am contracted (getting paid) to do my first film score for a short YouTube video about the Titanic disaster (hopefully this will be done way sooner than the video games and I can get my own music out there in a great video). I don't want to just throw my music up because I want to protect it. I can copyright the film soundtrack when the video goes up. The idea of a CD- most of the stuff I do, jazz and classical/cinematic isn't usually the first thing people buy online or in a store. But if my stuff is IN something (ex. a game or film that's popular), they'll maybe buy the CD or at least recognize my name from the music in a film or game.

You certainly are a hard worker and deserve all the suckcess you get. Jazz could be a way in for you. There is certainly a big market world wide, and look where Jamie Cullen has got with his interpretations of standards. Keep pluging away and you will certainly achieve your goals. the best of luck

I'm sure you meant Jamie Cullum, didn't you? I think it would be nice to have a separate thread devoted to his work.
