White Knight

Spectral Warrior con passion
The Score, starring Edward Norton, Robert DeNiro, Marlon Brando and Angela Basset. Tremendous turn by Norton as a supposed physically challenged person, and by DeNiro and him as two reluctant partners in a scheme to rob the Quebec customs house of a priceless ornament. In the end, it is the double crosser who gets crossed. Well done.

Beowulf and Grendel, starring Gerard Butler. Provides the "back story"--which the epic poem doesn't--of why Grendel has become such a monster. Beautifully haunting landscapes of snow and barrenness. Good story and movie.

White Knight

Spectral Warrior con passion
Solomon Kane, starring James Purefoy, Pete Postelwaite and Rachel Hurd. Somewhat one-dimensional, as our hero seems to have more lives than the proverbial cat, also with suggestions of his being a Jesus like being who escapes his Crucifixion to eventually win out over evil. I enjoyed it, though.

Duckmeister
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
One of the greatest buddy movies ever. Marvelous photography and scenery, great script and two of the most charismatic actors of the time.

Hello I'm looking for the opening soundtrack of the following f1 documentary. Sounds like Rah Band, any clue about it, would be very appreciated. A few years ago i heard the same song as at the closing credits of a documentary related to the comic books. http://youtu.be/7MYjn4-1ssY

Absolutely. Both the beginning--where Newman kicks Lurch "where he lives"-- and the end, when he and Redford are about to jump off the cliff into the raging waters below, are classics, and alone worth the price of admission. I thought they were also great together in The Sting, with Robert Shaw. Did you ever catch that one Ted?

I'm onto disc # 3 of the complete season 4 of Game of Thrones, via Netflix, Bluray. Should be viewing this tonight, and I'll have the fourth and final disc--hopefully--by this Friday. Tremendous job all around, with both the film and the books. I'm in love with both Cersei and Daenerys!

'The Time Machine' - the 2002 version. Obviously it differs a lot from the H. G. Wells novella, but we thought it was very good. Some great ideas about time travel, and the Morlocks were terrifying.
