Round Midnight directed by Bernard Tavernier. Its a great film about the jazz legend Bud Powell and his time in Paris.

Troy, with Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom. Excellent movie. Now I am really motivated to go out and read The Iliad!

Bernstein In Paris: The Ravel Concerts. Tremendous footage of the maestro from 1975 playing piano and conducting. Among the highlights for me were "Bolero" and seeing a young Boris Belkin playing solo violin with unbelieveable accomplishment. Simply outstanding!

I've just watched Eyes Wide Shut with Cruise and Kidman. Yup, I've still got some more catching up to do...

Paul - Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Two sci-fi fans help an alien return to his ship. Very funny. Good for relaxation.

Yup, I can vouch for that. I had a good laugh as well. I thought that Seth Rogen voice fit Paul's personality very well.

Last of the Mohegans. Recommended watching and almost worth it for the music alone.

"Master and Margarita" based on the book by Mikhail Bulgakov.

Wakeing Ned. Set in a fictional Irish village and concerning a lottery win. Brilliant acting and a wonderful script and storyline. Hardly anyone under 60 years old. Highly reccommended

Rise of the Planet of the Apes. A really good film that was surprisingly emotionally rich and nuanced (Andy Serkis doing performance capture for the main character). Great score by Patrick Doyle.

Arceus and the Jewel of Life. This movie has a moral to the story
if you watch this one closely.
