Here's a short clip from last year's Notes & Neurons. In Search of the Common Chorus. lecture within WSF, where it was discussed how our response to music is determined.

Bobby McFerrin conducted an experiment with the audience, using the pentatonic scale. The audience's response is quite interesting so I thought I'd share.
