Sweden continues to surprise with new groups that do the best to carve their own niche, while still maintaining very accessible to the audience! Female-fronted, 24-carat symphonic progressive? Such mix can be very interesting. Something that sets INTROITUS apart from the majority of other bands is their strategic use of the flute, cello, accordion, fiddles and sax. It gives an unique sound to music. Listening to CD 'Fantasy', I notice how easily the material switches from a bombastic symphonic style to a more polished and even song-oriented approach. Vintage keyboards a'la Tony Banks, sensitive guitar parts influenced by Steve Hackett and David Gilmour, along with delicate singing and classical orchestrations featuring sudden breaks... I can not think of any valid criticism on this record. What a treasure!!!

The production and sound is crystal clear and all musicians do one hell of a job with many superb instrumental details. As a whole, this is a stunning debut CD with wonderful melodies and very fine atmosphere, proving the genre of symphonic prog-rock is alive & kicking!!! This will be an excellent addition to your music collection. So what are you waiting for?.. ;)

Enjoy Teddy.

Btw, on a global scale, I would place Introitus like one of the most interesting currently active prog-bands to hailed from Sweden! ;)
