seems like i accidentally started a mini thread.on the subject of our songs another one my wife and i consider our song is
duke ellington satin doll. i requested this song at an ellington dance in niagara falls 1967. he played it for us and it has been our song
ever since.gord

hi john, i havent seen to many jazz stars unfortunatly, besides duke, i did get to see ella, oscar peterson,wild bill davison in new york,buddy greco in las vegas.
i also saw chris connor for free in rockerfeller center in new york and just a few others. gord

Thats great blues stu, I dont have any of her Cds and on the whole I dont buy blues albums,
