What Progressive Rock Did You Buy Today?

I would like to start a new section in this Forum, as I just realized that it
doesn't have a similiarly dedicated thread--as do Classical and Jazz--regarding what prog rock a member bought or received on a specific day. I apologize in advance if such a prog rock thread already exists; I just haven't noticed it.

Today I got Traffic's Shoot out at the fantasy factory

Thanks, Teddy. I can' wait to listen to this cd, as I've always liked Traffic and Stevie Winwood starting with their first album, which I heard and reviewed in high-school.

If you can recommend anything new by Winwood and Clapton Steve I would be very interested

@ Teddy, I'm not familiar with anything recent by either musician; however, if by "new" you mean works by them that you are not conversant with, then let me know which ones you do know, and perhaps I can add to your list.

I had heard that they had got together again. Just wondered what they were playing and whether it was mellow.

Teddy, Great find and thanks for the link! That song was on the one and only album Blind Faith put out. I also have it on my Stevie Winwood, Twentieth Century Masters CD.

I bought the entire Procol Harum's re-issues set last year. What a wonderful and underrated band they are! "Grand Hotel" is one of my favs ever. Back to the topic: I got Steven Wilson's "The Raven That Refused to Sing And Other Stories" yesterday. I'm amazed: he's back to vintage prog, our old chap Steve!

OT, I know time will come I'll be obliged to rent a flat somewhere in order to store my CDs here. Or maybe I should go modern and choose FLAC, MP3 and Co. But it's over me, I need the physical thing...
