What are your other hobbies?

I love the sound of bell ringing, my sister, brother-in-law and my cousin's wife were all bell ringers.

I was a very keen Fly Fisherman, then I brought a house next to a good Trout river the first couple of years were heaven then the novelty wore off and I have not fished for about 30 yrs

Easy teddy I am not keen on eating fish. and brown trout taste earthy rainbow are better but I still don't like.

Have to agree there, in fact I won't eat any river fish as Colin says earthy or I would say muddy taste, and too many fiddly small bones, sea fish generally have stronger heftier bones you can easily find. Best fish to eat is sea bass.

I have eaten Dorado baked with herbs, while in Spain. Delicious. Not sure what its nearest relative is.

Thought it about time to update this, I'm nearing completion of the main station on the layout, I'm waiting for some parts to arrive from an on line seller before I can finish it, this is the parts placed approximately where they will go, testing for fit before I start joining them together, need a few tweaks here and there.



Building is mainly made from card and plastic and some etched brass and cast plastic parts, overlaid with stone walling, roof tiles, doors and windows etc printed on A4 label stock (sticks to anything! All prints from various downloaded sources.



A wall and platform canopy, even has scale (1:148) posters, adverts etc.

I mainly shot clays, but I have packed all my trophys away. Dust traps according to the wife. I would have changed to pistol shooting as I am a right handed pistol shot, but only criminals are allowed handguns now
