Mat, I find these electronic saxes quite interesting butthey give me an occasional shudder.
aha me thinks you will become an acoustic man one day lol
John that was absolutely terrible and taken at a pace that was far too slow. The Organ was IMO a cacophony of mush and the Gemshorn if that is what was being murdered sounded like a badly played treble recorder, any local school could put on a better show :cry:

I have no idea, I thought you knew and that was why you posted that diabolical performance

Not jazz I know but just realised that the theremin, as metioned on this thread was used to good effect on Good Vibrations, by The Beachboys. One of my favourite pieces by that group.

Are you a bronzed god teddy ??? all that time in Wales must have been very hard on your skin what with the UV content of the powerful welsh sun. but I suppose the close contact with the beautiful sheep meant that the lanolin helped a lot. :)

I noted that trumpeter Bert Courtly also played mellophone on the Ronnie Ross CD (mentioned elsewhere)
What is it - (although this may have been raised before)

I certainly tan easily Colin, partly due to me Italian genes. A good tan will last me all year. Also as I have got older and fatter I have come to realise that brown fat looks better than white fat.

John. Stan Kenton used to have a Mellophonium Orchestra in the early sixties. They look like very large trumpets.
