Mel Powell! I would never have got that one Mike without the Miller and Goodman connection! Jess Stacey was the other pianist but he wasn't with Miller. Maybe it was the slow tempo that had me puzzled, but that adds interest to the fun of the game.
I very seldom check the websites as I prefer to figure out who the musicians are under my own steam.
Mat, I admit I don't have much of Branford Marsalis. I did a check on some recordings and was impressed. I will probably download a compilation of his stuff.
I'f you'd like to hear the St. Thomas track in its entirety you should go for his 1987 album Renaissance. I've heard some of his music and liked most of it.
