A lovely bit of jazz

Great piece Stu. Rollins as good as he ever is, and that bass player really knows what he is doing.

Hi stu, I'm sorry that I missed your alert of yesterday but I hope that I will be able to pick the show up via the retrieval
system which now operates (My wife is the expert at this sort of activity)

Thanks teddy, I'd never heard them together. Great stuff.
Regarding my last offering, its simply amazing the magical jazz that I
am turning up in my search for less known jazzists (in this case a group totally unknown to me).
I suspect that I will be posting much more in coming weeks.
Do you think a new thread is called for?

I don't think so John. It could just mean several less well used threads instead of one busy one

Just below the link was one to Cannonball playing the same piece. Have to admit that Cannonball sounded a lot smother and together.

Hi teddy - you and Cannonball!!!!!!

But to be honest, I'm not trying to draw up comparisons here.
What I have been doing is trying to bringing the attention of the forum to jazz performers who are
little known to myself and possibly others.
Its my latest kick so please forgive me if I lose my way at times.
