At a slight tangent:
I think the Karelia Suite by Sibelius was used to unite the people of Finland at some point in history, I could be wrong

I just came across this :
Sibelius was a central figure in creating a voice for Finnish music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Nationalism was thriving in Finland around this time following release from Swedish control (from 12th to early 19th century) and the threat from the Russian Revolution in 1917. Sibelius was seen as a national hero.
It is a very moving and patriotic piece of music.

Oh yes, and absolutely so...Sibelius's "Swan of Tuonela" is another work that reflects much of the traditional Finnish Soul.


Off-Topic: Apropos the character of the Finnish Male...They can even booze more than the Russians...My Russian acquaintances can vouch for that!!!

Another device used over here to discourage youngsters from hanging around is the MOSQUITO. This emits a high pitched note which is audible only to youngsters. It has been found very effective for dispersing youths. Some of them have complained it breaches their human rights.............

As opposed to breaching the innocent human bystander's rights . . . :rolleyes:.

In the USA we have the ACLU ... they complain about criminals being jailed as "cruel and unusual punishment", yet fail to take into consideration what wasn't cruel and unusual punishment for the act the perpetrator forced upon another innocent human being who got knifed or suffered immense pain.

If your neighbourhood store doesn't sell Napalm, lighter fluid might well have the same effect ... as a former smoker who had a Zippo lighter, I can attest to the ... uhh ... discomfort of this liquid leaking in the pants pockets. :lol:

For crowd control, musical frequencies are great because they work on the mind - Then there's a gadget that produces a type of "electro-radiation" which causes one to feel like your insides are being cooked - the closer you get to the device the more discomfort, and best of all, you can establish a very wide perimeter of "invisible control" - They won't know what hit them but move along they will.......

Did you know that some time during WW2 [I think] a transmitter was developed to transmit very low frequency sound this caused amongst other things men/women to evacuate themselves uncontrollably, now wouldn't that be lovely.

Yes Margaret, but they sure would not feel like fighting :crazy: there is a lot of energy in the low frequencies and underwater it travels vast distances
