Hello everyone!
I'm a pianists first ( been studying the instrument for 22 years now ) and in the past two years have added organ to my musical studies. I'm looking forward to many enlightening and thought provoking discussions about music in general but especially organ . :)

Welcome to our forum, Light of Faith :)

We do have an extensive list of discussions regarding the organ in our Pipe Organ forum area.
Are you able to practice on a good organ where you live?

Welcome aboard Light of Faith to a supermagnificently wonderful site with absolutely awesome members all. I hope that you have access to a fairly decent organ and a "coach" who can help you when the going gets hairy.

Cheers,

Thanks ! I'm looking forward to checking out all the valuable info. here. I have a Hammond organ to practice on at home ( can't think of the specific model right now ) and my church ( where I practice as often as I can) has a one manual pipe organ. It's a bit limiting as far as stops, but the sound is great.:)

Thank you for the welcome- it's great to hear someone speak so highly of this site;) The organ I have to practice on is pretty decent- not many stops to choose from , but has the great sound of a real pipe organ. I'm also thankful to have been taking lessons from a great teacher ever since I took up organ.
